Boy I wish people gave Superman his iconic theme music the same way they give Godzilla his it just gets infuriating not hearing it

Simply having a bird and (2)dinosaurs is not what made the original so great. 76 is very well done in it's own right. Many scenes are incredible. Kong suit / head was amazingly done. Scale models of the twin towers etc etc are awesome tstl. Toho movies started the man in a suit. Kong 76 perfected it. 76 is what movie making is all about. It's not perfect but what movie is... P.S. CGI sucks the big one! lol

Dude is called Dr. Who and looks and dresses like a young, Japanese, William Hartnell.

It's notable that alone of all the kaiju of the Monsterverse, Mothra doesn't hate us humans. As noted in the video, any damage she causes us and our stuff is purely accidental, a matter of "Huh? Wuzzat? Oh, well ..."

I've seen "Son of Kong" numerous times in the 1950's, on t.v.'s "Million Dollar Movie"! My biggest complaint of the movie was that its first 15 min.s, was the last scenes of the original film! "Son of Kong" gave a fitting conclusion to the question of what happened after Kong's death?/ p.s. I feel that in 1949, Robert Armstrong portrayed a "Carl Denham" character, in the updated remake of "Son of Kong", in the film "Mighty Joe Young"!

My biggest problem with the films seamoster to destroy all monsters is not being able to find the original American dubs. Rendering my favorite movies unwatchable. What was especially Unique was the voice actor for the dune was the voice of speed racer. So the voice had a familiar ring of a bell when hearing it as a kid. Later I found that that voice and the narrator were they’re on voiceover production and also voiced The 60s Hercules movies

Terror of mechagodzilla, Godzilla vs destoroyah and Godzilla final wars were all incredible Conclusions to their eras and when the monsterverse does its last film, We need a film as good as these to give the monserverse its own great conclusion.

This is one of my favorite movies ever... Fun to watch on a dark and stormy night.

My only problem with this movie is that they should've kept Noriko dead. It would've made Godzilla's defeat far more satisfying.

Nothing about the original King Kong jars or unsettles me.

for me i found this movie to be one of the best of the series, the best part about it is the direction and production and overall theme, and the worst thing is def its bland characters

Should instead rewrite Godzilla’s connection to Castle Bravo and the atomic tests. Right now, that connection is garbage.

One of Anno’s many, many quirks is making Japanese actors or voice actors speak foreign languages they do not actually speak.

Zilla reminds me of the monster in "the beast from 20 thousand fathoms" it came out the same year as the first Godzilla. It would be cool if that's what zilla was meant to be, another monster awakened and beaten at the same time Godzilla was

Yeah, i knew the original was more serious but WOW I only watched it a few years ago.

For me it has the best Godzilla scenes but all the scenes with human are just not so interesting.

I grew up in the early 2000s but my mom always got me the hesei Godzilla films because the newer millennium films weren’t in the states yet so I’ve got a fondness for them over any other era and imo hesei is the best with millennium as a close second

Look. I'm a hardcore Godzilla fan. I love every version of him. Legendary is my absolute favorite as far as an Earth protector goes. Villain, I'm having a hard time. Ik my 3 are Minus, Shin, and Heisei but I'm having an issue in putting them in what order. I feel like Shin and Minus, he's a tragic villain. Made into one because of our(human) actions. Whereas Heisei, he's just an asshole. Lol. I will always love any Godzilla I'm given. Yes, even Zilla. I wld have loved a sequel to see what monster/s they would have had him fight. Long live the King.

Take the monsters out, and it’s still a solid humans vs aliens plot. This is the high point of the showa era (to me, at least.) It’s one of the few movies in the series I’d give a perfect 5 star rating to that *aren’t* the ones that already get the most praise by critics (‘54, Shin, Minus One)
